Controlled Environment Agriculture
Silver Lion Farms operates a 250,000-square-foot glasshouse facility in Nevada’s high desert, designed to support scalable, climate-controlled cultivation with consistency, transparency, and long-term operational capability.
Large-Scale Glasshouse Infrastructure
Glasshouse Facility
Located on the Silver Lion Farms campus in White Pine County, Nevada, our 250,000-square-foot glasshouse facility includes multiple grow halls designed for controlled cultivation. Each hall is independently managed for key environmental factors such as light, temperature, and humidity, helping support consistent production conditions.
The facility was built to strengthen long-term agricultural capability through scalable infrastructure, year-round operational potential, and a more transparent seed-to-harvest production model.

A Large-Scale Glasshouse on a Working Agricultural Campus
Located on the Silver Lion Farms campus in White Pine County, Nevada, our glasshouse facility is part of a larger agricultural operation built for long-term production, infrastructure support, and operational continuity. Its placement within a working campus strengthens the controlled-environment model with onsite management, surrounding farmland, and the systems needed to support scalable cultivation.
Current and Future Use
A portion of the Silver Lion Farms glasshouse facility is currently supporting a professionally managed controlled-environment cultivation project. Additional grow halls are not in active production at this time.
As future opportunities are evaluated, the facility provides the flexibility to support expanded controlled-environment cultivation and additional crop production in alignment with long-term operational goals.
What Reliable Cultivation Looks Like
At Silver Lion Farms, cultivation is built on consistency, discipline, and respect for the systems that support long-term production. Whether in the field or under glass, our focus is the same: apply careful practices that help protect quality from start to finish.
In Nevada’s high desert, controlled-environment cultivation requires attention to detail. That is why we focus on the fundamentals — environmental management, smart inputs, careful timing, clean handling, and operational oversight — to support dependable, high-quality production.
When crops are grown for supply chains that depend on consistency, process matters. For us, cultivation is not just daily work. It is an operating discipline we continue to refine with every cycle.
What that looks like in practice:
Stewardship first: thoughtful practices that support long-term land and production health
Quality you can verify: clean, consistent products managed with care
Built for reliability: processes and teams focused on long-term results, not shortcuts

Glasshouse Infrastructure
Built for Controlled-Environment Agriculture
Our facility was designed for operators who value scalable systems, dependable utilities, and disciplined site management. The integrated glasshouse infrastructure supports controlled cultivation through environmental management, automation, and operational efficiency.
Climate control
With Priva automated heating, cooling, and venting systems, the glasshouse is designed to support stable environmental conditions that help maintain consistent production quality.
Automated systems
Key functions such as irrigation booms, LED lighting, and blackout curtains are integrated into the facility’s automated growing system to support consistency, efficiency, and operational control.
Integrated logistics
The facility includes mobile growing tables and internal logistics systems designed to support organized movement, workflow efficiency, and scalable production practices.
Purpose-Built Supporting Infrastructure
A Campus Designed for Strength and Continuity
The Silver Lion Farms campus is supported by purpose-built infrastructure designed to strengthen glasshouse performance, operational resilience, and long-term continuity. In a remote location where dependable utility access can be limited, these systems help support stable operations, emergency preparedness, and the long-range functionality of the campus.

Boiler House with Three Closed-Loop Boilers
The boiler house includes a three-boiler closed-loop system designed for heating efficiency and built-in redundancy. If one unit goes offline, the system can transition across loops to help maintain heating performance, reduce operational risk, and support continuous facility function.

Two Heat Storage Tanks with Heat Destroyer
The heat storage system helps manage and balance thermal energy across the campus for greater efficiency and more consistent environmental control. The heat destroyer adds another layer of protection by helping regulate and distribute excess heat within the broader infrastructure system.

Two 30,000-Gallon Propane Tanks
Two 30,000-gallon propane tanks provide substantial onsite fuel storage for key heating and infrastructure systems. This capacity supports energy security, snowmelt needs, and stronger emergency readiness across the campus.

10,000-Gallon Diesel Backup Generator
Our 10,000-gallon diesel backup generator provides critical backup power for essential glasshouse and campus systems during outages and service interruptions. This added power security helps protect daily operations and maintain continuity when utility service is interrupted.

30,000-Square-Foot Storage Barn and Shop
Our 30,000-square-foot storage barn and shop expands the campus’s operational capacity by providing dedicated space for equipment, materials, and infrastructure support. A partial heated concrete pad adds year-round functionality, improving workflow, access, and readiness during colder conditions.
The glasshouse is part of a broader agricultural campus that also includes our USDA Organic alfalfa farm in Nevada’s high desert.
